- She likes both coffee and tea. (A ella le gusta tanto el café como el té)
- He used to play both soccer and basketball when he was a child. (Él solía jugar tanto al fútbol como al baloncesto cuando era niño)
- They dance both hip hop and ballet. (Ellos bailan tanto hip hop como ballet)
- You can be both a teacher and a business woman. (Puedes ser tanto maestra como mujer de negocios)
- I traveled to both Italy and France. (Viajé a tanto Italia como Francia)
- We spoke to both George and Luna. (Hablamos con tanto George como Luna)
- She is both smart and funny. (Ella es tanto inteligente como divertida)
Las conjunciones correlativas también pueden iniciar las frases:
- Both Sarah and Luis worked here in 2020. (Tanto Sarah como Luis trabajaron aquí en 2020)
