En primer lugar, vamos a aprender preguntas muy utilizadas para pedir indicaciones:
- Excuse me, how do I get to __________? (Disculpe, ¿cómo llego a __________?)
- How can I get to _________, please? (¿Cómo puedo llegar a _________, por favor?)
- Do you know where the _________ is? (¿Sabes dónde está _________?)
- Can you please tell me the way to ________? (¿Puedes decirme por favor cómo llegar a ________?)
- Where is the ________? (¿Dónde está ________?)
Las palabras excuse me y please son ampliamente utilizadas para pedir información, ya que suenan más educadas y formales. Por lo general, se colocan al principio o al final de la frase.

B: You go straight and turn right on King’s road. The Italian restaurant is next to the café. (Sigue recto y gira a la derecha en la calle King. El restaurante italiano está al lado del café.)
A: Excuse me, do you know where the police station is? (Disculpe, ¿sabe dónde está la comisaría?)
B: Yes. Go straight on Bond street and turn left on King’s road. It’s on the corner. (Sí. Sigue recto por la calle Bond y gira a la izquierda en la calle King. Está en la esquina.)
A: Can you please tell me the way to the post office? (¿Podría decirme cómo llegar a la oficina de correos?)
B: It’s on the left, next to the library. (Está a la izquierda, al lado de la biblioteca.)
